| On January 16, 2008, TRICARE
announced that they will now cover laparoscopic
adjustable gastric banding, or Lap-Band
surgery, for those who medically qualify.
Also, TRICARE will cover revision surgery
if a patient has had an intestinal bypass,
or other surgery for obesity, and requires
a second surgery due to complications. |
